Sand - Washed Plaster

QUIKRETE® Washed Plaster Sand (No. 1152) is a washed, properly graded, plaster sand with multiple uses.

 

Avaliable in:
50 lb. bags

 

Use For:

  • Making Portland cement based plasters (stuccos) or masonry mortars

 

To Make Stucco:

  • Mix with QUIKRETE® Portland Cement and Hydrated Lime - Type S or QUIKRETE® Portland-Lime Cement in accordance with ASTM C 926
  • Mix with QUIKRETE® Plastic Cement or QUIKRETE® Masonry Cement in accordance with ASTM C 926

 

To Make Masonry Mortar:

  • Mix with QUIKRETE® Portland Cement and Hydrated Lime - Type S or QUIKRETE® Portland-Lime Cement in accordance with ASTM C 270
  • Mix with QUIKRETE® Masonry Cement or Mortar Cement in accordance with ASTM C 270

 

Other Uses:

  • As an underlayment for brick pavers and flagstone
  • For increased traction on snow and ice
  • For mixing with potting soil in garden applications
